The LANDSCAPE has low mountains with forest hundreds of km in all directions. There are many ponds, lakes, rivers and creeks.
It appears to be rather undisturbed even if forestery is going on.
In connection with the forestry there are many roads throug the forests, and these roads are normally open. This makes special possibilities for tours either with car, bicycle or walking. The area is so huge that you can be there one whole day without meeting any people, even if you go by your car.
The CLIMATE is typically inland changeing between sun and rain in the summer. Temperatures are normally ca. 25 centigrads during the day in summer - and mosquitos are seldom any problem. Other insects like bugs are not found.
The winter normally starts with snow end of November and it is melting again during April.
Snow depth normally around 50 cm but varying and temperatures normally around minus 5-10 centigrades.
